隨著單曲同步公開的音樂錄影帶是由曾獲葛萊美獎肯定的導演Dave Meyers操刀，打造前所未見、髮色由紅轉金，以吸血鬼形象詮釋另一個自我的紅髮艾德，紅髮艾德也在社群搞笑分享心得表示，吸血鬼讓他脫進紅髮當了一天金髮人。導演以黑色幽默手法將紅髮艾德與吸血鬼團隊在早晨來臨、變回原本自我前所展開的瘋狂夜生活比喻為「Bad Habits」。紅髮艾德表示: 「帶著新單曲回來真的感覺很棒。我希望能以奇幻的方式讓〈Bad Habits〉的音樂錄影帶能對平常的生活習慣有所影響，所以嘗試了吸血鬼的角色。投入這個角色演出真的超級好玩，除了挑戰高度的部份(這就不好玩了)。希望你們喜歡。」

慶祝新單曲的發行，紅髮艾德也將登上由TikTok贊助、於英國伊普斯㡳奇鎮波特曼路球場舉行的「歐洲國家盃足球賽UEFA Euro 2020演唱會」現場演出；該球場不僅是紅髮艾德家鄉的足球場地，同天艾德也將於現場首次公開演唱新曲。該演出將於台灣26日清晨4點於TikTok平台直播並於同日下午5點重播。日前，紅髮艾德也與貝克漢David Beckham一同拍攝影片宣傳、兩大巨星同框十分吸睛。
全新單曲《Bad Habits》是紅髮艾德在2019年推出英國冠軍專輯《No.6 Collaborations Project》之後的首支正式單曲。透過不同於正規專輯發行的長期音樂企劃，《No.6 Collaborations Project》中紅髮艾德邀來了22組喜愛的歌手包括: Cardi B、火星人布魯諾Bruno Mars、卡蜜拉Camila Cabello、阿姆Eminem以及Travis Scott等人共同合作。收錄其中與小賈斯汀Justin Bieber合作的〈I Don’t Care〉、Khalid獻聲的〈Beautiful People〉以及和Stormzy一同開饒的〈Take Me Back To London〉等三支單曲悉數攻英國單曲榜冠軍。
上個月紅髮艾德也參與了英國BBC Radio 1舉辦的「Big Weekend」演出，帶來獨家、全樂團編制的演出。同時也宣告將為他最喜歡的伊普斯㡳奇鎮足球隊中第一名的男女足球隊贊助全新服裝。除了推出新單曲之外，紅髮艾德也正全心籌備新專輯。
